7 Home Remedies for Regaining the Firmness of Saggy Breasts

Breast sagging is a natural process that happens with age wherein the breasts lose their suppleness and elasticity. Sagging breast (ptosis) is a common complaint for many women and this occurs in part because of  a loss of elasticity due to rapid weight loss, childbirth, wearing the incorrect bra size and the effects of gravity.

Breasts consist of fatty tissue and milk ducts placed atop the pectoral muscles that support them, and by doing chest exercises to build up the “pecs” breasts can receive the lift and support they need.

Many women feel their breasts have gone past the point of no return as it pertains to the downward shift of their breasts, but there is really no need to worry because there are several home remedies for regaining the firmness of saggy breasts, including regular pectoral exercises, olive oil massaging, ice massaging, cucumber and egg mask, vegetable oils and essential oils in different forms.

The Remedies are as follows:
Ice Massaging: This is an effective method of regaining firmness in sagging breasts and uplifting them. Take two cubes of ice and massage it in a circle around your breast for at least a minute. Don’t do it for too long, as the skin of the breast is very sensitive.  This will help tighten and tone the skin of the breasts. Cold temperatures naturally tighten up skin and slow cellular movement, this is a good technique when combined with immediately putting on a properly fitting bra and then staying in some sort of reclined position to allow the effects of the cold to sink in, thereby increasing the effects.

Cucumber x Egg Yolk: Another excellent remedy for lifting the breasts is a mask prepared from cucumber and egg yolk, cucumber has natural skin-toning properties and egg yolk has high levels of protein and vitamins that can help treat sagging breasts. Cut 1 small cucumber in a blender, mix in 1 egg yolk and 1 teaspoon of butter or cream to get a paste. Apply it onto your breasts and leave it on for about 30 minutes, wash it off thoroughly with cold water. Use this mask once a week to firm and strengthen the breast tissues.

Shea Butter: Shea butter is a favourite for many people because of its ability to moisturize the skin without the additives, it is also a great agent to use for firming the breasts because of its high concentration of vitamin E that tightens the skin. To use shea butter to help firm the breasts, warm the butter up between the palms of both hands and massage in an upward motion for about 10-15 minutes. Let the shea butter sit on the breasts for another 15 minutes and then remove the excess butter with water, repeat this process three to four times weekly to improve the appearance of sagging breasts.

Pomegranate: This surprising fruit has anti-aging ingredients and the oil of its seeds contains phyto-nutrients known to lead to firmer breasts. Create a paste from pomegranate peel and warm mustard oil and use the mixture before going to bed. Massage the paste into the breasts in an upward, circular motion for about five to 10 minutes daily. Pomegranate seed oil can also be used along with breast massage two to three times daily to help firm breasts.

Egg White:  Is also good for sagging breasts due to its astringent and skin-nourishing properties. The hydro lipids present in egg white helps lift loose skin around your breasts. Beat 1 egg white until you get a foamy texture, apply this onto your breasts and allow it to sit for 30 minutes. Wash it off with cucumber or onion juice and then with cold water or you can also prepare a breast mask by mixing 1 egg white with 1 tablespoon each of plain yogurt and honey. Apply it onto the breasts and leave it on for 20 minutes, rinse it off with cold water. Follow either of these remedies once a week to enjoy firm breasts.

Olive Oil: Adding to the list of plants that contain natural skin-tightening properties and antioxidants, aloe vera can be used to firm breasts and prevent damage caused by free radicals. Apply aloe vera gel to the breasts and massage in an upward, circular motion for about 10 minutes and then allow the gel to sit on the breasts for another 10 minutes.  Wash off the remaining aloe vera gel with warm water after the sitting process is complete, trying this process four to five times a week is recommended to receive effective results.

Vegetable Oil: You can also use vegetable oils like almond oil or grape seed oil to massage onto your breasts. It will help the nourishment of the skin, toning the structure and giving extra zeal. You can add essential oils along with vegetable oils, if you think it is required.
